These are REAL ALES bottle conditioned to stay fresh and live and keep all their intended taste without additional pasturisation and filtering. As a result there will likely be a sediment in the bottom of the bottle. This is a by product of the fermentation process and is quite safe, although we do recommend chilling the beer and then pouring the bottle contents out slowly into a glass to keep the sediment in the bottle.
